Boston: Shows [Week of 04.17.06]

I started using EZArchive, so I hope that helps with downloading. In town this week is The French Kicks, who are trying out songs off of their upcoming Two Thousand. I'll be in NYC this weekend seeing some friends and checking out the Orioles, who will be in town playing the Yankees -- if anyone is interested in hanging out, let me know.

04.17: Ladytron/The French Kicks @ The Paradise
The French Kicks will have a new album out this summer on Star Time International, so right now they're in the midst of testing all of the new tunes out on the road. Ladytron headlines.
Audio: "Young Lawyer"

04.17: Lucero/Langhorne Slim @ Middle East Up

04.19: Islands/Why? @">Middle East Down

04.21: Robert Pollard/Richard Davies @ The Paradise

04.21: Protokoll @ Great Scott
Do we need another band that sounds like Editors or Interpol? I know what a lot of you are thinking, but I say yes, and local boys Protokoll do it so well. They are playing The Pill, where you can also get your drink and dance on!
Audio: "Holy Divine"

04.22: Avail/Pink Razors/The Draft @ Middle East Down
