Manics Play O2 Arena, Named "Godlike Geniuses" by the NME

I suppose it's only fitting that the year that the Manics come roaring back to form with the stunning Send Away The Tigers that the NME has named them 2008's Godlike Geniuses. Previous winners include The Clash, New Order and Primal Scream. The band will headline the biggest ever NME Awards show (dubbed the "Big Gig") at the O2 Arena in London on February 28th. Rounding out the bill are Kaiser Chiefs, Bloc Party, Klaxons, The Cribs and maybe Kylie Minogue?
