Benefit Concert to Save Darfur

Teddy Thompson, Rufus Wainwright, Martha Wainwright, Ben Lee, and a bunch of other musicians will be playing a special benefit show tomorrow night in New York to raise funds for SaveDarfur.org. The incredible Pulitizer Prize-winning author Samantha Power will also give a short talk on foreign policy and Africa, which judging from past experience is worth the price of admission alone. If you're in New York, please try your hardest to attend this event... I know that it will be a good time, but more importantly it will help raise money and awareness to fight a devastating genocide. The show takes place at the Highline Ballroom (16th St. between 9th and 10th Ave.) with doors opening at 6pm. Tickets are $35, available on TicketWeb and at the door.
