Instead of Sun Kil Moon's Tiny Cities turning into a gimmicky rendition of Modest Mouse covers, it serves as a collection of reinterpretations that bring Isaac Brock's oft-obscured lyrics out of the crash and bang of instrumentation. How this comes off live is anyone's guess, but Kozelek is an enigmatic performer, so expect some solid results.
