Pull In Emergency

I'm just guessing here, but I bet that the last year has been a bit of a whirlwind for North London quintet Pull In Emergency. The band only formed in August 2006, but they've already released a single on Mute Irregulars and played a ton of shows at every pub and club in the region that would have them. That takes a lot of hard work--especially for a band that's still enrolled in high school. With ages ranging from thirteen to fifteen, Pull In Emergency is definitely young but you'd never know it from their music. They play a brand of jangly, lo-fi indie rock reminiscent of The Libertines but with a girl with a big, deep voice on the mic. Expect big things from this band.
