Black Rebel Motorcycle Club: On Tour

Last Tuesday, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club released Baby 81 on RCA Records, their latest journey through psych-laden Brit rock. They kicked off their North American tour this past weekend in Arizona with each show being covered by a different blog for the Filter Tourzine. I'll be covering the Boston show at the Avalon on May 29th.

This tour had some pretty sweet openers lined up as well, but The Fratellis dropped out because they were pussies and The Horrors had to cancel because they ran out of money buying silly clothing. Pinch-hitting will be Austin's The Black Angels, The Cobbs [who I know nothing about] and Eastern Conference Champions, a band that one of my writers over at Stranded In Stereo has been raving about.
