Boston: Shows [Week of 05.29.06]

05.29: Frank Smith @ Great Scott

05.29: The Twilight Singers @ The Paradise

05.31: Wolfmother/Psyhic Ills @ The Paradise

06.01: Mary Timony/Tralala @ Great Scott

06.02: Snow Patrol/The Duke Spirit/Augustana @ Avalon
On Snow Patrol's fourth album, Eyes Open, the band comes out swinging from start to finish with songs that range from the tender ["Chasing Cars"] to full out rock ["Hands Open"]. They're playing with Augustana, a band that I've always likened to as Snow Patrol, minus the edge and The Duke Spirit, who manage to get better each time I see them.
Audio: Snow Patrol "Chasing Cars"
Audio: The Duke Spirit "Love Is An Unfamiliar Name"

06.03: Faces on Film/Mason Proper @ Great Scott

06.03: (International) Noise Conspiracy/The Fever @ Axis

06.04: Radiohead/Willy Mason @ Bank of America Pavillion
