Dragonette

WARNING: The video pasted above contains some explicit material that may not be appropriate for our younger readers. It's basically Boogie Nights in music video form. You've been warned.

Dragonette is a group of Canadian ex-pats, who grew tired of the Mounties and moved away to London. Formed around the core husband and wife duo of Martina Sorbara and Dan Kurtz, the band plays an upbeat, sexy brand of electro-pop full of kitten whisper singing, raunchy synthesizers, and big dance beats. Although I haven't heard their entire debut album Galore (as it hasn't been released state side yet), I am fairly certain that all of their songs are about sex. That's not a bad thing, unless you go to Regent University or BYU or something. Check out this band if you want some fun music to get down to... or just some awesome dance music to perk up your day.
