This fall will see the release of a new album from The Cure on Suretone/Geffen, and for those of you who are counting, it will be number 13. Robert Smith is producing the as yet untitled album, which is their first since 2004's self-titled affair. Outside of Smith, the current lineup includes bassist Simon Gallup, drummer Jason Cooper and guitarist Porl Thompson, who is back in the band yet again.

I'm surprisingly excited to see this tour. Haven't seen 'em since the Wish tour, and Agganis is right across the river. Can't beat that. Hopefully the new record is solid.
Put some Pull Tiger Tail songs up. I love that band.
Just hope the new album is good. The last Cure album I really liked is Wish. Let's hope Porl Thompson's return has helped...
