The Phoenix Foundation: Welcome to the US

Languid and dream-like New Zealand pop rockers The Phoenix Foundation are finally making their way to the US this spring. Their debut Horsepower has just been issued on Young American Recordings, and the band will be doing a series of dates on both coasts, including a few shows with The Veils. They will also be promoting "Eagle Vs. Shark," a film in which they wrote the score. On top of that, the film was directed by Oscar-nominated Taika Waititi and stars Jemaine Clement, who is part of the new HBO comedy show "Flight of the Conchords."

Sorry for those of you looking for a "MacGyver" reference, you'll find none here.
