As 2007 ended, MGMT seemed to be the band of the future, creating music that was slightly reminiscent of the Flaming Lips gone electronic, but I wasn't really feeling it. Oracular Spectacular seemed to be a collection of pop nuggets thrown into our lives from the future with lead single "Time to Pretend" rocking every dance party.

The track that hit me right away happens to be the band's latest single -- "Electric Feel." The video is another effort that was no doubt made on drugs, and while I won't ever be partaking, I can sit back and enjoy the results, especially now that I am into the entire disc.
