Head of Femur: New Album

Orchestral pop might be a little square for some folks, but when done in the style of Head of Femur, things start to get more interesting. Brainchild of pop auteurs Mike Elsener and Matt Focht (former Bright Eyes drummer), the band's new album is called Great Plains and is an aural testament to their home state of Nebraska and its miles and miles of absolutely nothing, and the continuation of their journey in the urban jungles of Chicago. Look for the band's latest effort on March 25th through Greyday Records.
