Sun Kil Moon

I am way late on this and have no good excuse. Everyone is on to the new Sun Kil Moon album and I even work with the band, but I figured it was overkill. Definitely check out Tiny Cities--it's more than Modest Mouse covers; I'd be bold enough to call them reinterpretations.

"Neverending Math Equation"

I haven't given the whole record a listen yet, but "Neverending Math Equation" is the first song I ever heard by Modest Mouse, and remains one of my favorites to this day. This version is exceptional; I played this on the air today. As far as reinterpretations, I haven't heard the whole disc so I can't comment, but judging by this one track, I'd say you're entirely correct.

Great post. Great blog. This entire album is fantastic. So entirely different than how Issac Brock would do these tunes.
