The Ting Tings are a Manchester duo made up of guitarist Katie White and drummer Jules De Martino. Not to throw them under the bus they sound like Girls Aloud being reprogrammed by Klaxons, and while the indie cred police might look at me disapprovingly, these guys are pretty swell. They will be in the States for SXSW, as well as a handful of gigs before and after -- check their Myspace for more details. Look for their full-length album in May through Columbia.
